<p>Syis Paindow&nbsp;was born in Majene, Sulawesi Selatan in 1970. He graduated from Fakultas Seni Rupa IKIP Makassar at 1993. He worked in advertising line before getting he started painting. His style has gradually evolved to naturalistic realism and he puts in a lot of efforts in preserving Indonesian traditional primitive ornament as we can see in his every painting background. He has participated in many exhibitions since 1993.</p>
