<p>Rusnoto was born in Tegal, West of Java, in&nbsp;1972. He graduated from IKIP Jakarta. His much renowned paintings works incorporating minimalist and dramatic color compositions are rendered with mastery. His figures paintings express moods and temperament, which communicates directly to the viewer. He is best known as a painter of abstract and he won awards such as The Best Painting at IKIP Jakarta at 1994. Since 1993 he has participated in local and international exhibitions such as, Comparative Study Exhibition Thailand-Indonesia, Encounter of Two Millennial Cultures Indonesia-Peru.</p>
