<p>Kidro was born inTakengon, Tanah Gayo Aceh. He was a studio drama actor before he joined "Sekar Gunung" Artist Association in Medan in the early 1960's as a self-taught artist. He worked as a servant until he became a rickshaw driver for several years in Medan. <br /><br />Then he moved to Jakarta in the 1980's. He takes all the bitterness as a sweet journey and a great lesson of life. Since 1961, he has participated in many group exhibitions as well as solo exhibitions around Indonesia and in Kuala Lumpur. <br /><br />He received an award for the best painting, from BNI'46 in 1991, in a joint exhibition in Pasar Seni Ancol Gallery.&nbsp;One wrok of his&nbsp;can be seen at Le Louvre Museum in Paris.</p>
