<p>Hidayat was born in Indramayu, West of Java, in 1969.<br />He graduated from the Art Institute of Yogyakarta. He got a scholarship from the Indonesian Government and has won numerous awards for himself. <br />He uses the palette with a lot of bright and strong colors to&nbsp;express his imagination on canvas and to bring out his emotions. His works belong to expressionism as the main references of his style with the theme being manifested in human figures&nbsp;which he synthesizes with the elements of impressionism.</p>
